The Journal Gallery is pleased to announce Daniel Hesidence’s first solo exhibition with the gallery.
In the final segment of series categorized by the seasons, “Summers Gun” is Daniel Hesidence’s continuation and closure to four bodies of work. Preceded by Winter Holiday, Rose Laughter, Autumn Buffalo, and Maritime Spring, this exhibition presents eleven new oil paintings.
Daniel Hesidence was born in Akron, Ohio, 1975. His work has been included in numerous group exhibitions including “The Encyclopedic Palace,” at the 55th Venice Biennale (2013), “La Tableau,” at Cheim and Read, NY (2010), “Cave Painting,” at PSM Gallery, Curated by Bob Nickas, Berlin (2009), and “USA Today,” at the Saatchi Gallery, London (2006). His solo exhibitions include “Autumn Buffalo,” at D’Amelio Terras, NY (2010), “Rose Laughter,” at Andrea Rosen Gallery, Curated by David Altmejd, NY (2009), and “1779,” at Feature Inc., NY (2008).
